Back to work (v0.2)




Finally back to this project after a bunch of other priorities in real life and a long overdue vacation. Now that I proved I could make the core mechanic I intended, I've finished the game's GDD to settle on a vision. Also, below are a bunch of small changes I'm releasing alongside the document.

Change list:

  • Cleaned the  code to better allow for modular use of existing scripts;
  • Simplified the way the shot's angle is handled;
  • A few simple changes in color to better reflect the mood the game will have;
  • Added a placeholder UI;
  • Repositioned the game space to better fit with the UI;
  • The cooldown system is now working;
  • Limited the length of the line rendered on-click to reflect maximum bow power;
  • Adjusted a couple of proportions and positions.
